The classic example of this was Instagram, which was available to iPhone users for about a year and a half before Android users were able to join in all the photo-sharing fun. Most recently, Twitter released their video-sharing app Vine for iOS only.
Well, according to The Verge, Vine for Android is coming “soon.” Soon, us oppressed Android owners will be able to snap 6 second videos of our dogs and cats too.
It will be interesting to see how quickly Vine’s user totals spike once it finds its way to the Google Play Store. If the Android bump for Vine is anything like what Instagram experienced, they will be enjoying a very strong summer.
