Twitter/NFL/Visa launch Super Bowl Site

The NFL and Visa have teamed up with Twitter to create a new microsite covering next Sunday’s Super Bowl. The new social site includes an all-encompassing collection of NFL-related Twitter feeds, hashtags and trends. Twitter is promoting the site with the new promoted trend “Go Inside SBXLV.”

In addition to the microsite, the NFL/Visa also have launched the new verified Twitter account @visanfl, which currently has 321 followers, and the hashtag #goinsideSBXLV.

How much this new arrangement with Twitter set Visa and the NFL back is still unclear. Whatever the amount, if the Twitter activity next Sunday is anything like last year’s, it is a worthy investment.
