If you’ve spent any time on this site, you know that I am a pretty big fan of stats. What you might not know is that my interest of stats and random facts reaches well beyond the digital marketing world. Earlier this year, I mixed in a few non-digital stat posts (bacon, LEGO, coffee, etc) and the response was pretty amazing. Writing those posts was fun and you seemed to enjoy them, but they didn’t really to fit into the DMR format. I struggled for a while trying to figure out how to incorporate them into my regular DMR posts, but finally said “screw it” and created a second site: 10Things.me.

10Things is a pretty easy concept. I post 10 things about whatever topic comes to mind. It is very random and less structured than DMR. The posts posts incorporate a lot more media and new formats than DMR and are meant to be a quick and entertaining reads.
I have moved some of the non-marketing DMR posts over to 10Things and have been posting on it for a few weeks now. You may have already seen a few of the posts in the “Trending” widget here on DMR already. I am hoping that I can free up enough time to post at least once a day on 10Things without impacting DMR, which will always be my main focus.
Go ahead and check out 10Things.me and let me know what you think. Naturally, it is starting out small, but I have big plans for it and I’d love your feedback!
