Hike’s simplifying how people connect and interact with content and services on mobile. Hike believes that messaging will do for mobile what the browser did for the desktop times a 100.

Launched in December 2012 (12/12/12) by the Founder and CEO, Kavin Bharti Mittal, Hike is the largest Indian internet company by users. 100 Million users, exchange 40 Billion messages per month and spend over 120 mins. per week on Hike.

Within a short span of 3 years, Hike became the “38th Most Exciting Brand of India” (Economic Times Brand Equity and Nielsen survey) and a top Indian app as ranked by many analysts (Mary Meeker, App Annie etc.). It was also called out by Softbank as one of its best performing portfolio companies in India. (source)
