The U.S. Department of Agriculture recently created this infographic that tallies up how much it costs a family to raise a child from birth to age 18. It also breaks down where the money goes and points out some geographical spending differences.
OK, maybe this isn’t really a marketing piece, but hey, I found it interesting and surprising so I thought I’d share. My son is about to turn two and I am the grocery shopper in the family, so I understand completely how fast it all adds up. My only advice is to enjoy the infographic and start couponing!
