BitSight Statistics, User Counts, Facts & News (2022)
Last Updated on: February 25th, 2022
Here are a few of the most interesting BitSight statistics and facts I was able to dig up including user counts. As always, be sure to check back in the future as I will be updating this post as new and updated stats become available.
What is BitSight?
Founded in 2011, BitSight transforms how organizations manage information security risk. The BitSight Security Ratings Platform applies sophisticated algorithms, producing daily security ratings that range from 250 to 900, to help manage third party risk, underwrite cyber insurance policies, benchmark performance, conduct M&A due diligence and assess aggregate risk. Fifty percent of the world’s cybersecurity premiums are underwritten by BitSight customers, and 20 percent of Fortune 500 companies, and four out of the top five investment banks rely on BitSight to manage cyber risks. Please note that some of these numbers are easier to find than others. A few of these BitSight stats come from their own reports, but some are based on news reports and not official company tallies. No information contained on DMR should be relied upon to make investment decisions. Basically, this is the best I can find and I don’t guarantee anything to be 100%.
