What is Thumbtack?
Launched in 2009 by Sander Daniels, Jonathan Swanson, Jeremy Tunnell, and Marco Zappacosta, Thumbtack was created on the belief that hiring a great local pro should be as easy as buying a book online. Today, Thumbtack operates out of a headquarters in San Francisco and an office in Salt Lake City, serving customers from every zip code in the United States. The five largest markets are Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, and Chicago. More than five million projects are requested by customers each year in nearly 1,100 unique categories. Some of the most popular services requested on Thumbtack are personal training, catering, moving, interior painting, and singing lessons. (source)

Please note that some of these numbers are easier to find than others. A few of these Thumbtack statistics come from their own reports, but some are based on news reports and not official company tallies. No information contained on DMR should be relied upon to make investment decisions. Basically, this is the best I can find and I don’t guarantee anything to be 100%.
