Here are some handy stats for all you marketing managers who are evaluating whether Pinterest is a worthy social platform to work into your brand’s digital strategy.
I find the stat that Pinterest generate 27% more revenue per click than Facebook pretty interesting. I wonder if that stat reflects on Facebook not being able to figure out social commerce after all these years more than Pinterest doing things right.
Being an active pinner and publisher of content to Pinterest, I still see there being a significant disconnect between Pinterest activity and click-throughs to websites.
To me, an interesting stat to see on an infographic like this would be: How many Pinterest users repin, like and comment on a pin without ever visiting the site linked to the image. Judging from what I see, that number may be eye-opening.
