By the Numbers: 60 Amazing Snapchat Statistics

snapchat statistics 2014Snapchat has certainly enjoyed a relatively fast rise to prominence in the digital world. What started out just a couple of years ago as a somewhat obscure mobile network, has gone mainstream in a big way and is now on the radar of some of the largest digital firms out there including Facebook, who reportedly offered $3 billion in late 2013.

So how far have they come? Here are the Snapchat statistics and facts I was able to dig up. As with most private companies, the numbers are tougher to come by, but as more stats make their way into the media, I will be sure to update this post.

Please note that some of these numbers are easier to find than others. A few of these stats come from Snapchat’s own reports, but some are based on news reports and not official company tallies. Basically, this is the best I can find and I don’t guarantee anything to be 100% accurate.
