One of the later entrants into the crowded and competitive music streaming market was Apple Music, created when Apple acquired Beats and its Beats Music Service. Despite Apple’s tardiness, they made up for lost time quickly by leveraging their enormous hardware and software user base to develop a more-than-formidable subscription-based music platform.
