Sprint Corporation, also known as Sprint, was a telecommunications company in the United States that provided wireless services and internet services to customers. The company was founded in 1899 as Brown Telephone Company and later became part of the GTE Corporation. In 1982, the company was renamed Sprint Corporation and became an independent company.
Sprint offered a range of wireless services, including voice, messaging, and data services, as well as mobile broadband services. The company also provided wireless devices, such as smartphones, tablets, and mobile hotspots, and had partnerships with a number of device manufacturers.In addition to its wireless services, Sprint also offered internet services, such as DSL and fiber internet, as well as voice and data services for businesses.In 2020, Sprint was acquired by T-Mobile US, Inc. and became part of the T-Mobile brand.
