Here is pretty much everything you ever wanted to know about Rite Aid.

Rite Aid Statistics store count revenue totals and Facts 2024

Rite Aid is a retail pharmacy chain based in the United States. The company was founded in 1962 and is headquartered in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. Rite Aid operates over 2,500 stores across 17 states in the U.S.

Rite Aid’s primary business is the retail sale of prescription drugs, over-the-counter medications, health and wellness products, and personal care items. The company also offers pharmacy services, such as immunizations and medication therapy management.

Rite Aid has faced some challenges in recent years, including competition from other retail pharmacy chains and the rise of online pharmacies. In 2018, the company announced plans to merge with the grocery chain Albertsons, but the merger was ultimately called off.

Despite these challenges, Rite Aid remains a significant player in the retail pharmacy industry and has continued to expand its offerings and services to remain competitive. The company has also been involved in efforts to combat the opioid epidemic in the United States, including the implementation of programs to help prevent opioid abuse and addiction.
