- The odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot are 1 in 302.6 million, while the odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.
- The largest jackpot ever won in a casino was $39.7 million in 2003, on a slot machine called Megabucks at the Excalibur Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
