With today’s blockbuster announcement that Verizon is purchasing internet platform Yahoo for $4.8 billion, I thought it would be interesting to break out a subset of my big list of social media and app user totals to focus on some of the bigger digital properties of Verizon now that Yahoo is in the fold. As you can see below, Verizon’s now greatly expanded digital footprint is pretty impressive.
Please note that some of these numbers are easier to find than others. A few of these stats come from Verizon/Yahoo/AOL’s own reports, but some are based on news reports and not official company tallies. Basically, this is the best I can find and I don’t guarantee anything to be 100% accurate.
