It’s one of the most common protocols for transferring large files, such as digital video files containing TV shows or video clips or digital audio files containing songs. Instead of relying on a central server for file storage and distribution, BitTorrent turns downloaders into sources, speeding up the process and reducing the load on any single source, making it an efficient way to share and download large files.
