What is AMAG?

AMAG and its 6,600 or so employees are passionate about getting people on the move. We are fascinated by their individual mobility wishes and dreams. We are driven by a desire to satisfy their needs. This approach has been AMAG’s outlook since its earliest days. First imported in 1948, the VW Beetle made having one’s own car affordable for ever more sections of the population. Dreams turned into reality. People’s horizons expanded – and they enjoyed life to the full. Our founder Walter Haefner predicted all this as well as the rapid increase in mobility requirements as economic growth took off in the 1960s and 1970s. His visionary strength enabled him to make AMAG the biggest automotive company in Switzerland. (source)

Please note that some of these numbers are easier to find than others. A few of these AMAG stats come from their own reports, but some are based on news reports and not official company tallies. No information contained on DMR should be relied upon to make investment decisions. Basically, this is the best I can find and I don’t guarantee anything to be 100%.
