So, because holding down a full-time marketing job, spending 4+ hours a day commuting, keeping up with a 3-year-old and running a few pretty active websites, wasn't enough activity, I decided about a year ago to take up a hobby. I wasn't necessarily good at anything in particular, so somehow I settled on cooking. I guess this decision was made mostly because of my love for eating. It also gives me some quality time with my son, who "supervises" in the kitchen.

Anyways, this hobby took a bit of a turn late last year, when a member of our household was diagnosed with a gluten allergy. This made the weekend cooking projects a bit more challenging, but we were determined to keep trying new things. Thankfully, because of some great websites, apps, food manufacturers and grocery stores, cooking gluten-free is 1,000 times easier (and tastier) than it was a few years ago.

Most of my inspiration comes from Pinterest and Googling random ideas. There are 1,000's of awesome gluten-free recipes out there. Unfortunately, there are also a few bad ones. I figured it would be fun to share a few of my family's favorites and give a little credit to the websites that have helped bring a little flavor back to my family's Sunday dinners. Most of these items are pretty quick to make and taste as good, if not better than, the gluten version.
