Follow Friday is too easy. It takes very little effort to put together a bunch of tweets containing lists of people you follow. Are these really recommendations? What does ia long listing really tell your followers about the people you are suggesting? Not much.
I figured I would take a few moments each week(ish) and post a few of my #FF suggestions with a little more info than a quick listing. Here goes week one….
@Flipbooks – Blair is one of the most retweeted people on Twitter. He is a great source of Social Media Info, Current Events and Inspirations Quotes. By far, the person I retweet the most. He tweets a lot, some probably automated, some live, but he is definitely a real person…and a pretty good one at that.
@Mashable – Do I need to say much here? The best source for social media breaking news, hands down. They are pretty much the New York Times of Social Media.
Find Out How Many People Use Over 1,000 of Your Favorite Social Networks, Apps and Digital Services
@Michaelgass – Michael blogs about social media in the ad agency world. He has some great posts about how agencies should use social media to grow their business. Definately a must-read for marketing agencies. I am hooked!
@Danschawbel – Dan is all about helping people brand themselves. He blogs and shares content about self-improvment and personal branding. He has some great tips for job hunters and/or anyone looking to create their own personal social media brand.
There you have it. My inaugural Top 5 List. Happy following!
