Original Post:
As expected, tweets about Broncos Quarterback Tim Tebow are dominating Twitter today.
At kickoff of the AFC Divisional Game, Tebow’s name had been mentioned 315,563 times today. Compare that to the other stars of today’s two NFL Divisional Playoff games:
- Tim Tebow: 315,563
- Tom Brady: 17,435
- Chad Ochocinco: 21,981
- Drew Brees: 55,878
- Jimmy Graham: 21,770
- Alex Smith: 68,575
- Vernon Davis: 45,699
I will be updating this running tally periodically during the Broncos/Patriots game to see if Brady is able to pull any closer to Tebow in this unscientific, completely pointless Twitter popularity contest.
Go Patriots!
