They have created a game of Pong that coincides with traffic lights and placed a controller at each end of a cross walk. While waiting to cross the street, you can challenge the person across from you to a quick game.
The game ends when the walk sign changes and it is safe to cross the street. The winner gets bragging rights as you pass them crossing the street.

OK, so this concept has very little practical application, but it still is very cool. Imagine the potential it could have in the experiential marketing world. A brand could absolutely jump on this for a buzzworthy street activation.
This reminds me a lot of the real-world game of Frogger I wrote about a while back…
