Fast-food behemoth McDonald’s recently wrapped up a creative digital campaign in which they crowdsourced their latest burger creations.
The “My Burger” campaign, run by McDonald’s Germany, centered on a microsite where aspiring chefs could configure, name and submit their creation for Germany’s next big burger. The 330,000+ submissions were then voted on by other visitors to the site.

Over 5 million votes were casts for the various burger creations.
The first announced winning burger was the “Pretzelnator,” which will be sold at all of McDonald’s German restaurants. A total of five winning burgers will be made into real McDonald’s burgers. Each burger creation will be available for one week.
