Kodak is helping everyone join the Times Square madness tonight by posting your New Years Eve pic on a gigantic JumboTron.
Here is how it works:
Find Out How Many People Use 1,000 of Your Favorite Social Networks, Apps and Digital Services
- Download the Kodak Gallery app;
- Upload your celebratory photo(s) to a group album on the app
- Kodak will be displaying the photos on a giant JumboTron on top of the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square for the masses to see.
Through the app, users can also comment publicly on other photo submissions.
This is a fun digital campaign and smart of Kodak to repurpose some of their existing assets for it. It will undoubtedly generate new app users that will continue to use the app beyond tonight’s activation.
What I really want to know is: How many censors do they need to employ tonight to monitor the drunken photo submissions???
Oh, and something tells me there will be a lot of embarrassing submissions deleted by users tomorrow night.
Happy New Year Everyone!
