us national soccer foursquare badgeUpdate:

The US Men’s National Soccer Team foursquare badge is back and redesigned for 2013.

To unlock the badge, all you have to do is check-in to one of the team’s games this year. Here is a full schedule of games for the US Men’s National Team.

Original Post 3/26/11:

foursquare has launched a new badge to support the US Men’s National Soccer Team as they play Argentina tonight at Meadowlands Stadium in New Jersey.

Apparently, when you check-in to the game tonight, you will earn the badge and get the following message:

“Oh When the Yanks Go Marching In!” Thanks for supporting the U.S. Men’s National Team. Now let’s hear you scream, cheer and chant until you’re red, white and blue in the face!

I was tipped off to this new badge when I saw foursquare founder Dennis Crowley check-in to the game and earn it a few minutes ago.

It is unclear if this badge will be retired after tonight, or if they will keep it around for future US games.
