foursquare is trying to give their users a little motivation to work off all the extra calories they take in after earning their Flame Broiled and Fried Check-In badges.
They want to reward bikers and jogger with the foursquare Velocipede and Joggernaut badges that they launched today.
To earn each badge, all you have to do is check-in to a bike shop (to earn Velocipede) and running track (Joggernaut) or shout out something related to biking or running ten times.
The Velocipede messages states:
Whether you’re riding a cruiser, fixie, road bike or recumbent, the most important thing is you’re protecting the ozone AND you look good in spandex. Like a modern day Captain Planet! Except instead of flying, you’ve got that two-wheeled contraption…
and the Joggernaut badge says:
There’s no hill too steep, weather too miserable, personal best unbeatable, or shame in hitting the snooze button (once in awhile…). Now gulp some electrolytes, put ‘Eye of the Tiger’ on repeat, and don’t let anyone hate on your Five Finger shoes.
Enjoy!
