Every four years, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) celebrates the world’s best athletes. With its new foursquare partnership, the IOC is now looking to celebrate the athletic feats of you and I by rewarding us with a new badge for working out this summer.
To unlock the new badge, all you have to do is follow the IOC on foursquare and then check-in to an athletic-type venue (gym, track, trail, yoga studio, etc) between now and June 25th. You will then earn your badge and see the following message:
In addition to staying healthy and active, you’ve just unlocked the Olympic Day badge! Clearly you’re well on your way to achieving your fitness goals, now go reward yourself with a fresh fruit smoothie. As the message suggests, everyone that unlocks the Olympic Day badge is eligible to win a trip to the 2012 Olympics later this Summer in London.
