google plus logoNow that the festivities are over and the President has entered his second term, Google announced today that they are going to be resuming their “Fireside Hangout” series featuring members of the Obama administration.

The first hangout of 2013 will be tomorrow, Thursday, January 24th at 1:45pm ET and will feature Vice President Joe Biden, social celebrities Guy Kawasaki and Phil DeFranco and PBS Newsman Hari Sreenivasan. The topic will be reducing gun violence and the policy recommendations that the White House recently unveiled.

If you have spent any time on Facebook lately, you undoubtedly understand that the gun issue is a hotly contested one with very passionate advocates on either side of the issue.

If you are interested in this topic and would like to submit a question that may or may not be posed to the panel, two of the panel members have made it very easy to do so. All you have to do is have a Google+ account and join their special “Questions for the Vice President” Google+ communities (Kawasaki’s is here and DeFranco’s is here). In those communities, you can post a question for the VP on the wall and converse/debate with other users if you so chose.

To watch Vice President Biden’s Google hangout tomorrow all you have to do is go to the White House’s Google+ page or their YouTube channel.
