Here is pretty much everything you ever wanted to know about Houseparty.

Houseparty statistics user count facts 2023

Houseparty is a social networking app that allows users to participate in virtual hangouts and video calls with friends and family. The app was launched in 2016 and gained popularity during the COVID-19 pandemic as people looked for ways to stay connected while physically distancing.

Houseparty offers a user-friendly interface that allows users to quickly create or join virtual “rooms” with their contacts. Within these rooms, users can participate in group video chats, play games, and share their screens with other participants. The app also offers a range of in-app games, such as Heads Up!, Trivia, and Quick Draw, that can be played with friends during video calls.

One of the unique features of Houseparty is its “facemail” feature, which allows users to leave short video messages for their friends even if they are not available for a live video call.

In addition to its social features, Houseparty also offers a range of privacy and security features, such as the ability to lock rooms and control who can join them, as well as end-to-end encryption for all video and voice calls.

NOTE: Epic Games shut down Houseparty in October 2021.
