To commemorate their 140th anniversary, the beer maker is allowing their Facebook friends create their next bottle design. Participants can download the bottle template from the Heineken Facebook page and then go to town.
The winning entry will become the next Heineken bottle design in 2012.
Here is the twist- Each participant is only able to design 1/2 of a bottle. After completing half a bottle, designers will next have to connect with other participants through the Facebook app to pair their designs up and complete the full bottle entry.
Not a bad idea. This is a pretty creative way of driving traffic to the Heineken page and keep their audience engaged after they have used the app.
