In case you missed it, Google launched a Hurricane Sandy crisis map yesterday that updates visitors on storm developments, predictions and warnings by location.
The crisis map is customizable and allows you to add or remove layers for stuff like high wind probability public alerts, hurricane evacuation routes and many other useful pieces of storm information.
If you are in the storm’s path, or just want to follow its progression online, this map is a great page to be monitoring.
Of course, if your power goes out, or just want to follow the storm on a mobile device, here are 6 essential Hurricane Sandy mobile apps that you should consider installing.
Stay safe everyone!
