Google Creates ‘Year in Film’ Video to Celebrate the Oscars

google logoIt’s Academy Awards time (Sunday, 7pm ET, ABC), and like any other major pop culture event, the social platforms are not wasting an opportunity to create unique content and drive more traffic to their properties.

The latest to jump on the Oscars bandwagon is Google. As you would probably expect, the owners of YouTube went the video route in creating Oscar content.

Google has made this fun “Year in Film” video to celebrate all the movies that graced the big screen in 2012. It is a fun look back at the year’s highlights (with a few shameless plugs for their products worked in) to waste a few minutes on before you tune in to the show.
