foursquare and Samsung Reach Sandy Relief Check-In Donation Goal

foursquare tipsYou may remember that I posted last week about unlocking the “Be Robin Hood 121212” foursquare badge and the donation Samsung would make to super-storm Sandy relief for every check-in.

Well, foursquare just announced on their blog that they reached their goal for the effort, which was 25,000 badge unlocks equating to $250,000 donated to the Robin Hood Relief Fund.

In their post, foursquare notes that this is their biggest single-day charitable drive to date. Congrats to foursquare and Samsung for this impressive achievement!
