Using the new F21POP app, shoppers can scan images on store window clings or on the pages of the Forever 21 magazine to reveal videos of the brand’s winter collection.
The videos feature models Chanel Iman and Alexandra Spencer showing off the new clothing lines.
This may only be the beginning of the Holiday AR apps. If last year’s was any indication, the level of interest and creativity by brands integrating augmented reality into their Holiday activations should be amazing this year.
Last winter really was the beginning of the widespread brand acceptance of AR that we now have. It will be very interesting to see how brands use AR in their Holiday marketing plans this year.
