Flipboard Creates Weekend Section

Flipboard, the insanely popular iOS app that turns ugly, plain news feeds into eye-catching, magazine-style flipbooks, has created a fun new channel.

For their new “Weekend Section,” the Flipboard team curates the best articles of the week and puts them in one place for you to peruse during the weekend.

According to Flipboard’s recent blog post: “By the end of every week, we’ll assemble a short list of the most interesting movie, music, book and video game news and reviews, as well as DIY projects, food suggestions, leisure sport and travel tips, and longreads that transport you to another time and place.”

To get the new section, all you have to do is click on the red ribbon in the app and search “weekend.”
