Forbes tells us today about the 14 year-long saga of Duke Nukem Forever, the much-anticipated sequel to the gaming mega-hit that was announced in April 1997. According to the article the game will (fingers crossed) hit stores on June 14th.

OK, not exactly earth shattering digital marketing news, but this definitely caught my eye while perusing my Google Reader feeds.
When I was in college, this game was HUGE. I am not sure if it was his smart-ass personality, its risqué innuendos or the ‘advanced’ 3D graphics, but it sold millions of copies and was a staple in most dorm rooms (the ones that had PCs).
I have no idea when I will get time to play it, but you can be sure I will be picking up Duke Nukem Forever when it comes out. If this blog goes a little quiet in mid-June, consider yourselves fore-warned.
