The Chevy Game Time app is available for download January 22nd and is aimed at making the Super Bowl a bit more interactive and social. Users will answer game-related questions and polls and those who answer correctly will be eligible to win prizes.
You may also win a Chevy vehicle just by downloading the app and registering.
There is an interesting hook here to the television broadcast in the app. Each registered app user receives a unique virtual license plate. If your license plate appears on one of the vehicles in the various Chevy TV ads, you win the vehicle.
I am pretty excited to see how the major brands will be going beyond traditional TV ads to capitalize on the massive audience of the Super Bowl. I get the feeling that this will finally be the year of the mobile integration.
